Steps for Daily Self-Hypnosis:

Using Self-Hypnosis as a daily practice maximizes your positive affirmations effect on your subconscious mind and in your life.

While affirmations alone assist our self-talk to be positive and improve our state of mind, attitude, and outlook, using self-hypnosis accelerates their effect in our lives so they become ingrained in our subconscious mind, memory, and a permanent part of our personality.  We can actually reprogram our subconscious mind.

When combined with affirmations, self-hypnosis becomes a dynamic tool for amplifying their effectiveness and accelerating personal growth.  I recommend this daily practice to all of my clients for life!  Use self-hypnosis as your accelerator and for your “Home Fun!”

Steps for Self-Hypnosis:

1. Prepare for Self-Hypnosis: Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Sit or lie down in a relaxed position.  Use a blanket to keep warm because the body temperature can drop when deeply relaxed in trance.  Close your eyes and take three slow, deep relaxing breaths exhaling more slowly than you inhale, focusing on your breathing.

2. Relax your body by visualizing a wave of golden light, relaxing your body slowly from head to toe as you continue breathing slowly.

3.  Deepen your trance by counting from 10 down to 1, while breathing one slow breath with each number.

4.   Say 2 or 3 of your favorite affirmations, 3 times each.

5.  Visualize yourself experiencing the reality of your affirmations.  A mental movie of your goal achieved.  Be sure your affirmations are realistic and in the present tense.

6.  If it’s time for a nap or to go to sleep, just roll over and sleep.  If you need to be about your day, count out loud from 1 to 5 and say: “Fully awake and alert!”  Open your eyes, stretch, and smile.

Practice Self-Hypnosis twice daily for 30-60 days to achieve the permanent change desired in the affirmations.  Enjoy this lifelong transformational practice
